Daniel Julius Weaver
Daniel J. Weaver, 78, of Gaskin, died Wednesday morning [October 31, 1962] at his home after a long illness.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gaskin, a native of Alabama and was a retired farmer. He had resided in Gaskin since he was four years old.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday [November 1, 1962] at the Lime Springs Church near Samson. Ala., with Rev. R. M. McDaniel officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery with Comander Funeral Home of DeFuniak Springs directing.
Mr. Weaver is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mollie [Elizabeth Vann] Weaver of Gaskin; a stepson, [Robie James] Bodiford of Samson, Ala.; and three stepdaughters, Mrs. Charity [Alford] of Opp. Ala., Mrs. [Ida] Jewel Alford of Samson, Ala., and Mrs. Jessie Lee Nobles of DeFuniak Springs.
