Being a member of the Walton County Heritage Association (WCHA) means actively supporting the preservation, restoration, and celebration of Walton County’s history and culture. Members help maintain the Walton County Heritage Museum, participate in community events, and contribute to preserving the landmarks and stories that define our county.
Membership also provides opportunities to engage with the community through educational programs, exhibits, and special events that promote local heritage and lifelong learning. By joining, members become part of a network that fosters unity of action among individuals, families, businesses, and organizations working together to safeguard Walton County’s past for future generations.
Members in good standing enjoy benefits such as newsletters, invitations to member-only activities, and discounts on select events. Members in good standing are eligible to serve on committees and, when opportunities arise, may be nominated to the Board of Directors. Active participation helps shape the future of the organization and ensures our mission continues for generations to come. Membership runs January 1 through December 31.
