Prescott Allen Timmons
Prescott A. Timmons, 53, of 101 Bruce Ave., DeFuniak Springs, died Tuesday afternoon [December 11, 1962] in Maxwell AFB Hospital in Montgomery, Ala.
Mr. Timmons was a native of San Luis Obispo, Calif., and was a retired USAF master sergeant. He had resided in DeFuniak Springs for the past six years. He was a member of the Elks Lodge of Redlands, Calif.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday [December 14, 1962] in East Baptist Church in DeFuniak Springs with Rev. J. A. Cornellson officiating.
Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery with Comander Funeral Home in charge.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Johnnie [Merle] Timmons; two sons, Duane Timmons and Charles Majors, all of DeFuniak Springs; and a brother, Herman Timmons of Albuquerque, N. Mex.
