Ernest Nuel Bishop
Ernest Nuel Bishop, 71, of Argyle, died Thursday morning [January 31, 1974] in a local hospital.
He was a native and life-long resident of Argyle and a retired pulpwood contractor. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church for the past 52 years.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nellie Estelle Bishop of Argyle; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Cairns of Temple Hill, Md., and Mrs. June Rogers of Birmingham; two sons, Jimmy Bishop of DeFuniak Springs and Olin Bishop of Jacksonville and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday [February 2, 1974] in the Comander Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lloyd Kimbrough officiating.
Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery with Comander Funeral Home directing.
