The DeFuniak Springs Herald - March 29, 1917

Mr. and Mrs. Bud Davis [Marius Martin Davis and Nancy Jane Donaldson Davis], about 80 years of age, residing in Okaloosa County near Camp Walton, were brutally murdered Wednesday night March 21st [1917]. The murder was similar in many respects to the aged Wyman couple about a year ago.  Robbery is supposed to be the motive.
