1960 Sep 8 Silas Doyle Murphy, 56 of Tampa, died Thursday, Aug 25. He was a native of Ponce de Leon,and had been a resident of Tampa for 20 yrs.  Elder Murphy had been a minister of thePrimitive Baptist Church sine 1945.  Services were conducted Saturday from PrimitiveChurch with interment in the Fellowship Cemetery. Survivors: his widow Mrs Rilla Murphy,2 brothers, Avery & Harvey Murphy, 2 sisters Mrs Mary Nell Andrews and Mrs MyrabellAlford. Contributed by Lois Danley and Sharon Watson
