1949 Sep 21 The coroner’s jury finds Louie M Reddock met his death from an automobile that was driven by an unknownperson. Clyde Lamar Hidle, 19, son of Mr & Mrs C I Hidle of Euchee Valley community was killedSaturday afternoon when he was accidentally shot by a .22 caliber rifle he was taking fromthe car.  The accident happened in from of his parents’ home, the gun being dischargedin some way as he removed it from the car.  He was rushed to Lakeside Hospital but diedabt two hours later, about 8:00.  Services were held at Red Bay, Sunday, interment followingin Red Bay Cemetery. Survivors including his parents; a brother John and one sister, MrsJohn Rushing. Contributed by Lois Danley and Sharon Watson
