1960 Oct 20 Mr Louie Weeks 35, of Camp Creek was killed instantly Sep 30, in an auto accidentin France, where he was stationd with the U S Army, he was a career serviceman, havingserved 17 years.  Services were held from Leonia Baptist church Friday with burial followedin Leonia cemetery.  Survivors include his parents; Mr & Mrs Joseph Weeks; 3 sisters,Mrs Bertha Williams, Mrs Clara McDuffie & Mrs Sally Moore. Mr Joe Evans Deurell 72, of Jackson Still community died Thursday Oct 11.  Mr Deurellwas a native of Covington Co Ala and had lived in Jackson Still for 21 yrs.  Serviceswere held Thursday Oct 13 from Cluster Springs church with interment followed in churchcemetery.  Survivors included his wife, Mrs Elizabeth Deurell, on son, Louis Deurell; onebrother L C Durell and a sister Mrs Delia Bates. Contributed by Lois Danley and Sharon Watson
