1960 Nov 3 Mrs Ila Padgett 59, of Westville, died Friday Oct 28.  Mrs Padgett was native ofHenry Co, Ala and had lived in Holmes Co for past 54 yrs.  Services were held Sunday fromBeulah Ann Baptist church, with interment in church cemetery. Survivors include herhusband,  Mr B B Padgett, 2 daughters, Mrs Ethelle Holmes & Mrs Bertie Lou Miller;2 sisters, Mrs Irene Padgett & Mrs Thelma Amerson and 6 grandchildren. Mr Barney Stephens, 60, passed away in a St Petersburg hospital Oct 21, he was a formerresident of Ponce de Leon.  Services were held Oct 24 from North Side Baptist church withburial in New Ponce de Leon cemetery.  He is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs Annie Lee Hobbs,and Mrs Cloie B Green; 2 sons, Tommy Lee & Marvin Lee Stephens & 5 grandchildren. Contributed by Lois Danley and Sharon Watson
