1965 July 15 George Coles of Miami died Jun 1^st. He is survived by 2 sons, George L & Robert DColes. The Coles are former residents of this county.  Mrs Coles died about 2 yrs ago,and both were buried in Trenton, Ala.  Mrs Coles was a sister of Mrs W I Briegel ofthis place.  Mrs Zuripha M Ward, 66 died Tuesday July 18 in a Port St Joe hospital.  Mrs Wardwas native of Bellwood Ala and had lived in Pt St Joe for past 5 yrs. Survivors are2 dau Mrs Mary F Knight and Mrs L O Adams; 1 son Thomas M Ward, 1 brotherCharles N McLean; 2 sisters Mrs Maude Bowen & Miss Minerva McLean; 12 gr ch;4 gr grands. Mr Walker Mitchem 81 yrs died Monday July 11 in local hospital. He was a nativeand lifelong resident of Walton Co.  Survivors 2 dau Mrs H C Keel & Mrs J IBateman; 3 sons Clarence, Jay & Robert Mitchem; 3 bro Jessie, Chester, &Jack Mitchem; 1 sis Mrs henry Scott; 10 gr and 16 gr gr.  Services held Tuesdaywith burial in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church cemetery. Contributed by Lois Danley and Sharon Watson
