KENNEDY-BUTLER WeddingThe residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Butler, south of town, was the scene of a pretty home wedding last Saturday evening, when their daughter, Alice, became the bride of John Kennedy, W. T. Bludworth, M. P., officiating, in the presence of a few very intimate friends and the immediate families of the contracting parties. Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy left on the night train for Gonzalez, where the groom has a good position with his uncle in a large mercantile establishment at that place.
