This couch belonged to Carolyn H. Norris. It was originally given to her in Andalusia, Alabama. At some point, it was moved to Hawaii when she lived there. She married Jimmy Norris, and they lived in Mossy Head. One of her sisters was Ann Brochsmith who lives in DeFuniak Springs.

Rubye Burton, who lived on Circle Drive in DeFuniak Springs, hand hooked this rug in the early 1960s, using the wooden floor stand pictured below to hold the rug frame as she worked.
