Mrs. Elizabeth “Liz” Rogers, age 52, of DeFuniak Springs passed away April 3, 2008. She was born February 15, 1956, in Lakeland, Florida, to James and Azaline Hill Dockery.
Liz was Holiness by faith. She graduated from Niceville High School in 1974. She loved to garden, crochet, fishing but most of all spending time with her grandson and family, and very proud of her two sons, Jim and Bubba.
Liz was preceded in death by her parents.
Liz is survived by her husband, Roy E. Rogers Sr., of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, two sons James “Jim” Michael Rogers of San Diego, California, and Roy E. “Bubba” Rogers Jr and wife Annie of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, four brothers Leonard Dockery and wife Elizabeth of Portland, Florida, step brother Buddy, Allan and wife Diane and Robbie McCormick all of Niceville, Florida, two step sisters Linda Hickock and Elizabeth “Winky” McCormick both of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, one grandson Ryan Tylor Rogers.
Visitation services will be conducted at 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, April 6, 2008, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, April 7, 2008, at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jeff Cain officiating and Eulogy by James Rogers.
Those asked to serve as pallbearers are Calvin Miller, Robbie McCormick, Allan McCormick, Buddy McCormick, Bryan Miller and James Lorenz. Burial will follow in the Cluster Springs Cemetery.
