Ebb R. Sunday, 82, of Glendale, died Wednesday morning [March 7, 1962] in a local hospital. Mr. Sunday was a native of Baldwin County, Alabama, and a member of the Glendale Baptist Church.
He had resided in the Glendale community since 1937. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church at Gaskin with Rev. Robert Hollor and Rev. Hobson Vann officiating.
Burial will be in Gaskin Cemetery with Comander Funeral Home directing. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Beatrice Sunday of Glendale; five sons, General Sunday of Freeport, Andrew Sunday of Opp, Ala., David Sunday of Geneva, Ala., Albert Adkison of Lakewood, Calif., Jesse Adkison of DeFuniak Springs; three daughters, Mrs. Fannie and Mattie Ward, both of Samson, Ala., and Mrs. Verna Beasley of DeFuniak Springs; one brother, Charlie Sunday of DeFuniak Springs; one sister, Mrs. Matilda Coon of Florala, Ala.; 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
