Alver Jackson Adams

Alver Jackson Adams, 75, of Argyle, Fla, died Saturday afternoon at his home. Mr. Adams, a native and lifelong resident of Walton County, was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 170 F&AM.

Survivors include his wife, Alma Adams of Argyle; a daughter, Jree Scott of Ponce de Leon; a son, Jack Scott of Ponce de Leon; two sisters, Allie Thornton of Pensacola and Alma Nobles of Florala, Ala.; a brother, Albert Adams of Pensacola; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Comander Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James Donaldson and the Rev. Lonnie Wright officiating.

Burial with masonic rites will follow at the Chapel Hill Cemetery.
