Bob Hurst, Vice-President of the Historic Society of Bay County, is an authority on Indian and military trails throughout our area, dating back to the eighteenth century. He studied at Cambridge, England, focusing on the the works of the British military officers who mapped Northwest Florida as they traversed it from Pensacola to St. Augustine in the 1700s.
